GENERAL
-------
The 4.1.1 tree contains a number of modifications to the LKCD dumping
process, to add reliability to dumping (to prevent the majority of
cases where hangs would occur), and lots of features have been added
to lcrash to enhance the analysis process.

The patches in the patches directory applies to specific Linux 2.4
kernels. The RPM is built using RPM 4.0, so you'll need the latest RPM
image (or re-build the RPM image yourself with the .src.rpm and
'rpm -ba').

POTENTIAL ISSUES
----------------
If you are using a system with PAE enabled (Physical Address Extensions),
which is a different type of page table implementation, you will need to
rebuild the lkcdutils RPM for your kernel, as the 4.1.1 images do not
handle PAE systems correctly. This can be accomplished with the --rebuild
option of RPM. This problem will be corrected in a subsequent release
of the lkcdutils product, which will hopefully not take as long to
complete.
